Talented Mongolian Chiyoshoma, who has had a steady rise up the ranks since his debut in 2009, has
made excellent progress over the last 12 months. His score of 9-6 from near the top of juryo division at
the recent Nagoya Basho will catapult him into makuuchi division for the upcoming Aki Basho.
Arawashi also performed well in Nagoya and his score of 9-6 from the bottom rank in makuuchi
division will take him into more comfortable territory in makuuchi.
