Unable to avoid his retirement

After 12 years as a sekitori, with most of that in makuuchi division, Takamisakari called time
on a colourful career following the recent Hatsu Basho.
He had repeatedly said that he would retire rather than fight in the lower divisions, so as
demotion loomed, retirement was the only course of action.
